The world has changed, and people are putting food much higher on their priority list. We are all fortunate we are in the food production industry and believe that we will all benefit in lamb production now and in the years to come. We are focusing on high production genetics to produce as many lambs as possible. We look forward to assisting and watching your business flourish in these evolving times.

2020 RAM SALE

January 16, 2020 by warradmin

We, the Warrawindi Farms team, invite you to inspect our 2020 sale ram offering on the

9th of October. This year we will be holding our Maternal sale in the morning starting at 10am, followed by a break where lunch will be provided before following on with the Terminal sale at 12:30pm. Viewing from 9am.

The Maternal sale will consist of 20 Warra-M Border Leicesters and 100 of our Border Leicester East Friesian cross rams – ‘the ultimate Maternal cross.’ This is a sire that is designed to put more milk and fertility into your first cross ewes AND THEY DO. They are suitable to put over merino, composite or first cross ewes.

The Terminal sale will start with 25 Warra-J Suffolk rams, which will be followed by our biggest offering yet of 6 stud and 250 flock Poll Dorset rams.

TCP or Terminal Carcase Production is the new index introduced by sheep genetics, which has replaced the standard carcase plus index. TCP index combines growth, fat, muscle and eating quality. All Terminal rams will be catalogued in TCP order with the maternal rams being catalogued in MCP, Maternal Carcass Production order.

Once again TDC and Nutrien Livestock will be conducting the sale. This year due to expansion and size of numbers being offered, we are interfacing with Auctions Plus. This will also solve any challenges with restrictions due to Covid-19 if you are not able to make it sale day.

The Galpin Family is serious about providing you with the best possible genetics and the most profit for your lamb production systems, whatever the requirement. We look forward to an ongoing partnership in such a rewarding industry. We also want you to get value for money so for clients purchasing more than 10 rams we are offering:
